This pretty little wedding was an intimate family affair and a complete whirlwind!
When Erin and Robb decided to marry they did not waste any time. They decided that St. Patty’s day was THE day and the fact that their February 29th engagement day only gave them 3 weeks to plan, did not stop them! When you know what you want, you jump in with both feet and make it happen. And that’s exactly what they did, and beautifully.
Little did I know on March 13th that my wedding season was going to get a little jumpstart in 4 short days. Luckily, Ms. Anna Briggs was available to second shoot and we set off our season with a little Irish luck…

Shooting at Wachusett Mountain in mid March was a bit of a challenge. A somewhat gray day, with some fleeting blue skies here and there. I loved the contrast of the yellow tulips against the grayness of the day and scenery.

What else would you have on St. Patrick’s day but a leprechaun hat cake?!

Here’s Erin with her maid of honor, a childhood friend.
And with her team of flower girls… one cuter than the next.
Sometimes love hurts, literally!
Here’s the two littlest of the flowergirls, so sweet.
I love that she was smelling the petals before she threw them, she cracks me up.
Robb’s Dad married them.
Again with this little one… she stole the show for me.
Love how he looked at her so intently throughout the whole ceremony.
Out we went for their formals. Not many places to shoot at the bottom of the mountain because the lack of snow this winter made everything so muddy. But we found a few little dry corners and made the best of it.
This was my favorite shot of the day, nicely done, Anna.
And you can see here that it wasn’t completely gray that day. The skies did clear for a bit.

Congratulations, Erin & Robb! Thanks for having us along!
