I love a chance to photograph a passion and I was lucky enough to be asked to capture this little ballerina who loves her art. These aren’t “typical” dance recital photos. Mom was looking for something to remind her in future years, of her little ballerina in a simple yet beautiful way…
They can’t all be serious, had to get a little playful smile in there. After all, she may be a serious dancer, but she’s also a little girl.
There was one little request from Grandpa, a few photos in his favorite costume. And yes, that little smile was for Grandpa too. Mom said, “smile for Grandpa” and she automatically looked angelic.
Grandpa has great taste, this costume photographs beautifully!
Lastly, I wanted a nice close-up to highlight her beautiful eyes
I also was lucky enough to photograph her older brother this same day, he’s a cutie himself! But we will leave those for another day’s post!
