Home sessions are my favorite!! Throw in 3 cuties, some Easter egg coloring and a giant indoor playhouse with slide and you got the making of memories that you’ll never get tired of looking at. Personally, my favorite pictures of my kids are not the perfect wall portraits where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera with their pressed clothes, though those are nice also. My favorites are the ones where they stir the MEMORIES in my MIND and in my HEART! In my family, those pictures usually have one kid crying, another with a stained shirt and another in their underwear… and maybe the 4th one smiling. But they are always pictures of something we did as a family. They are always pictures showing feelings, whether they be love, excitement, silliness or annoyance… and the best is when you can get consecutive pics of all 4 of those feelings!
I took these photos of this sweet family 2 years ago. I meant to blog them then but I never got to it. Last week I came across them again and remembered how much I love them, and they’re not even my kids! So since spring and Easter are right around the corner, I figured this is the perfect time to share them…
